would not be available to you. You are expected to complete all
graduation requirements mandated by your high
school. After graduation, admission to a program at the

TECHNICAL
CAMPUS
If you are a
Perry County or Hazard
Independent high school student, now's the time to
start thinking about college.
HCTC Technical Campus offers a Dual Enrollment
program that can help you get a head start on your college education
while still in high school, no matter
where you choose to pursue your higher education upon graduation.
Through Dual Enrollment, you can begin your college
studies by choosing one of several career oriented programs linked
with programs offered at the Technical Campus of HCTC.
These courses maintain college level standards.
Dual enrolled students do not pay college tuition or
other fees; therefore, you can cut the overall cost of your college
education by taking these courses in high school. Students
must be in their junior or senior year of high school to
be
eligible for classes.

Dual Enrollment Career Oriented Programs

Under these options, secondary students will follow
the traditional high school policies and procedures already
established with HCTC Technical Campus.
The secondary student will be administered the COMPASS
Assessment if he or she wishes to do so for
