ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REVIEW PROCESS

KCTCS has initiated a common process of annual performance, planning and evaluation for full-time KCTCS faculty and staff. The purpose of annual performance review is individual and institutional improvement. HCTC has developed the following calendar to facilitate this process:

A Performance, Planning and Evaluation Form (PPE) is used to establish annual goals and to report accomplishments. The employee, supervisor and reviewer meet to review position responsibilities and to establish goals and strategies with appropriate outcomes in the following categories:

                                                      . Professional Development

                                                      . Leadership

This year, HCTC is participating in a pilot project for the annual performance review of support staff.  The electronic PPE form is available for view at ReviewSNAP.com. 

In addition, HCTC has developed the following addendums to assist the evaluator in determining the overall rating for their employees.

Realizing that not all employees will agree with the overall rating given them by their immediate supervisor, HCTC has developed a formalized appeal process.  The following processes have been developed.  Faculty appeals will follow the dates presented in the 2008-09 Annual Performance Review above.  Staff appeals will follow the number of workday presented in the appeals process.
